Pediatric body imaging

Richard S. Martin, M.D. completed his undergraduate training at the University of Georgia in Athens, followed by medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. After completing his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, he completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. He then joined the faculty at the Children’s Medical Center Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. In 2005 he joined the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the faculty at the Children’s of Alabama in pediatric imaging.

Dr. Martin currently serves on the Pediatric Imaging Quality Assurance Committee at Children’s of Alabama. He is Board Certified in Pediatric Radiology from the American Board of Radiology.

His area of clinical practice is pediatric imaging with special interest in body imaging.
