Charles L. Torgerson, II, M.D. completed his undergraduate training at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, followed by medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He completed his internship and residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the Baptist Medical Centers in Birmingham Alabama. He then completed Fellowships in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati Ohio before joining the faculty at UAB and Children’s of Alabama in pediatric imaging.

Dr. Torgerson serves as Director of Pediatric Radiology Resident Education. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology. His area of clinical practice is pediatric radiology with special interest in neuroradiology.
