We are proud to announce the recent graduates from our AMIR division who have completed their Ph.D. and master’s programs. Their hard work and dedication have significantly contributed to advancing knowledge in their respective fields.
James Mokaya Omweri earned a Ph.D. in chemistry with a dissertation titled “Development of Radiochemistry of 52Mn for PET Imaging Applications,” under the guidance of Dr. Lapi. Yujun Zhang received a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular physiology and cancer biology. Zhang’s dissertation, “Non-invasive PET Imaging Probes for Immune Activation and Fibrosis in Cancer and Pulmonary Fibrosis,” was chaired by Dr. Deshane and mentored by Dr. Larimer.
Our master’s graduates include Sharmila Sridhar, who completed a degree in multidisciplinary biomedical science and cancer biology. Her thesis, “Combination of [64/67Cu] Theranostics and Immunotherapy Targeting Fibroblast Activation Protein in Triple Negative Breast Cancer,” was chaired by Dr. Sorace. Amber Judd and Jordyn Wheeler also earned master’s degrees, both in business administration.
