Andy GrammerGrammy Award winner and multi-platinum artist Andy Grammer will bring his “Monster Tour” to the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 16.

Grammer’s latest album, “Monster,” is a deeply personal record chronicling a journey of self-discovery. With “Monster,” he takes listeners on a therapeutic journey that culminates in the realization that friends, family and genuine connections are what matter most.

Known for his uplifting, feel-good music, Grammer surprises fans with a raw exploration of emotions he had not previously confronted. For this intimate evening, he will perform fan favorites alongside his new tracks. His signature blend of feel-good melodies and reflective lyrics will resonate with anyone who has faced challenges.

The performance is set for 7 p.m. in UAB’s Alys Stephens Center, 1200 10th Ave. South.

Grammer was discovered while busking in Santa Monica, California. His debut, self-titled album in 2011 featured the singles “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine by Me.” His hit single “Honey, I’m Good,” from his second album “Magazines or Novels,” reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, was certified triple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and was ranked one of the 10 best-selling songs of 2015. “Magazines or Novels” also featured the certified gold single “Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah).”
