Angel Squad Offers Awareness about Breast Cancer at Jim ‘N Nick’s

Birmingham-area Jim 'N Nick's restaurants will host the Angel Squad to recognize National Mammography Day.

angel_squad_group_story On National Mammography Day, Oct. 21, 2011, the Angel Squad of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center will staff information tables at several Jim ‘N Nick’s locations across Birmingham to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The Angel Squad is a group of dedicated volunteers providing hope, comfort and compassionate services to breast cancer patients and their caregivers at The Kirklin Clinic. The Angels will distribute informational brochures, pink ribbons and gifts throughout the day.

Jim ‘N Nick’s makes an annual donation to show appreciation for the Angel Squad and its ongoing commitment to breast-cancer patients.
