The UAB Department of English will kick off its annual book discussion group on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, with the science-fiction thriller Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. BookTalk is a free, informal group that is open to the public. It begins at 6 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month in the Mervyn Sterne Library Henley Room, 917 13th St. South.
