The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s online Master of Public Health degree program has been ranked in the top 20 by BestColleges.com.
The rankings also report that UAB’s program, ranked 19th, has the least expensive in-state tuition costs and one of the lowest out-of-state tuition costs among Top 20 programs.
“Over the past several years, we have made a commitment to improve our online Master of Public Health degree programs and to make them a great learning experience for our students,” said School of Public Health Associate Dean for Academic and Strategic Programs Pete Ginter. “I think our online program is getting better all the time through the efforts of our faculty and staff and through improvements in technology.”
The top online master’s in public health programs for 2015 are all accredited by theCouncil on Education for Public Health. School rankings are compiled using the latest informationfrom the IPEDS and College Navigator databases, both maintained by the National Center for Education Statistics. The rankings also take into account acceptance rate, retention rate, graduation rate and enrollment rate.
