Come see the six-time Grammy Award winners perform a memorable evening of music, song and dance on this final journey.

The UAB Department of Music will present student, faculty and guest artist recitals, the third annual PRISM concert March 30, and for the first time, student winners of the Concerto/Aria Competition in concert with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
A community call-and-response libation to honor those who died by lynching will be at 5 p.m. Feb. 6, followed by a lecture from artist LaShawnda Crowe Storm.
Cefaly’s visit is part of the Dramatist Guild Foundation’s Traveling Masters series, in conjunction with the world premiere production by the UAB College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Theatre of Cefaly’s “Tell Me Something Good” from March 9-13.

“Focus” is a series of exhibitions that spotlights local and regional private art collections in the Southeastern United States; “Focus IV” highlights work from the Birmingham-based collection of Bill and Elizabeth Koleszar.

Presented by UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, the Aeolians of Oakwood University will perform in honor of Black History Month.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of social justice issues and what they can do to get involved on their campuses.

Schein, dubbed “one of the premier Chopin pianists of our time,” will perform an all-Chopin program for her UAB Piano Series performance.

Information sessions for people to share their experiences will be at noon and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center.
