Theiss- a board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons- is an expert in back, neck and spine conditions, as well as the surgical and non-surgical treatment of spinal trauma and injuries.
As Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, much of Theiss’s clinical and research interests lie in understanding and treating spinal injuries or conditions, and the future of research as it relates to spinal health. He can also speak broadly about the role of spinal health and overall patient condition.
Theiss is also a member of the North American Spine Society, AO Spine and the American Orthopaedic Association, in which he has held numerous leadership positions.
