Speck is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in forensic nursing and sexual violence. She has worked with domestic and sexual violence survivors from around the world to help them with their recovery. She is an expert in how to respond to traumatic events, as well as how to cope with PTSD after an assault
Speck has worked with national and international leaders to create policies to help prevent and respond to domestic and sexual violence. She is also an expert in forensic nursing, child abuse prevention, how to respond to child abuse, and domestic and sexual violence prevention.
