The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Karlene K. Ball, Ph.D., University Professor of Psychology and director of the Center for Research in Applied Gerontology, endowed chair in developmental psychology during its meeting April 13, 2012. Ball joined the UAB faculty in 1990 and is associate director of the UAB Center for Aging.
Professor and associate director of the UAB Aging Center will hold an endowed chair in psychology.
