Candice Dye, M.D.

Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine Division of Academic General Pediatrics

Dye is a general pediatrician who sees patients at UAB and Children’s of Alabama. She has a passion for educating resident physicians, patients and their families regarding anticipatory guidance and all things safety —  to be proactive instead of reactive when given the chance.

She is currently working on a project teaching residents how to address sensitive medical health issues that adolescents and teens face, specifically suicide. She thinks through dangers and risks that children and teens face to find real world solutions. Dye provides medical perspective for parents as they tackle tough issues.
