An assistant professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care, Iyer's clinical research focuses on patient-centered outcomes research in COPD, the fourth leading cause of death in the United States. Iyer also founded of @PalliPulm which focuses on bringing palliative care to people suffering from chronic respiratory diseases and their caregivers.
