Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic SurgeryAs sports medicine section chief, Momaya is an expert in orthopaedic sports injuries as well as the surgical and non-surgical treatment of sports injuries.
In addition to being an assistant professor and active clinician scientist in both the UAB Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Children’s of Alabama, Momaya serves as team physician for UAB Athletics, Birmingham Legion FC, Birmingham Vulcans Rugby Club and John Carroll Catholic High School.
