In her role as an endocrinologist and Director of UAB’s Weight Loss Medicine clinic, Amy Warriner, M.D., treats patients with clinical weight loss and weight management needs, primarily patients with Types 1 and 2 diabetes.She is currently working on a project teaching residents how to address sensitive medical health issues that adolescents and teens face, specifically suicide. She thinks through dangers and risks that children and teens face to find real world solutions. Dye provides medical perspective for parents as they tackle tough issues.

She is passionate about helping patients achieve their health and weight goals, and educating patients on ways to improve their health outcomes through diet and medical attention.
