Emmy Award-winner Wayne Brady is perhaps one of the funniest comedic actors on TV. His hilarious improvisational antics, paired with his ability to impersonate just about anyone, have won the laughs of many Americans on ABC’s hit comedy series “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Wayne brought those same talents and more to his own show, “The Wayne Brady Show,” which premiered to stellar ratings and earned him two Emmy Awards and four nominations.

A chance performance in a high school play, which got rave reviews, permanently altered Brady’s long-range plans to join the military. Brady immersed himself in the central Florida theater community and was named Sak Theatre’s 1992 Rookie of the Year for Theatre Sports/Improv. In 1996, he moved to Los Angeles and performed at the prestigious Mark Taper Forum in “Blade to the Heat.” Soon Brady garnered television guest appearance on series such as “I’ll Fly Away,” “Home Court” and “In the Heat of the Night.” The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences took notice of his talents and invited Brady to perform solo at the 52nd Annual Emmy Awards in 2000. The comedic musical medley which spoofed many of the season’s top shows was a hit.

Brady was a series regular on the syndicated sketch comedy show “Kwik Witz” for two seasons and hosted the VH-1 comedy series, “Vinyl Justice,” KABC’s “Countdown to the American Music Awards” and was seen opposite Drew Carey in ABC’s “Gepetto.” Brady hosts the game show “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” and continues to tour the country with his own improv show, “Wayne Brady and Friends.”
