University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Professor of Radiology Michelle L. Robbin, M.D., has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Professor of Radiology Michelle L. Robbin, M.D., has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Robbin is chief of ultrasound at UAB. She is on the board of governors of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and on the editorial boards of Radiology, Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Ultrasound Quarterly.

Dr. Robbin also is a member of the Alabama Academy of Radiology and is a Fellow in the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Mayo Medical School in 1985.

The American College of Radiology is a national nonprofit association serving more than 32,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of radiology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
