The Asian American Organization at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will present its annual “Taste of Asia” show and dinner. The show and dinner are free to the public. Donations are welcome.

The Asian American Organization at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will present its annual "Taste of Asia" show and dinner. The show and dinner are free to the public. Donations are welcome. The dinner will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at the Alys Stephens Center, Jemison Concert Hall, 1200 10th Ave. S.

The show will present performances by UAB students from India, China and other Asian countries as well as local artists. The performances will include traditional dances, music and much more. The dinner, featuring authentic Asian cuisine served by several local Asian restaurants, will begin immediately after the show.

The UAB Asian American Organization is a student group that represents more than 10 nationalities. The organization's aim is to raise awareness of the diversity on campus.
