BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Computer Music Ensemble presents a concert of new works of electro-acoustic music and multimedia by UAB student composers at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 3, in the UAB Mary Culp Hulsey Recital Hall, 950 13th St. S. The UAB Computer Music Ensemble is conducted by Michael Angell, D.M.A. Admission is free. Call 205-934-7376.
For the concert, the Ensemble will perform one continuous multimedia work, "Electric Orpheus." "Orpheus" will feature computer-generated sounds, projected visuals and live musical performance.
