WHAT:

An announcement concerning the first successful cloning of a mule was held today. University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) bioethicist Professor Gregory E. Pence, Ph.D., is available for comment. Pence is author of several books, including Who’s Afraid of Human Cloning and editor of Flesh of My Flesh: The Ethics of Human Cloning.

WHO:

Gregory E. Pence, Ph.D., has taught bioethics for more than 25 years at the UAB Department of Philosophy and the School of Medicine. His other books include Re-Creating Medicine, Classic Cases in Medical Ethics and Designer Food.
