Follow filmmaker Jeff Barrie in his documentary "Kilowatt Ours" as he journeys across the United States to reveal energy-related problems and present practical, cost-saving solutions and ways to improve the environment. Barrie addresses some of the most urgent modern environmental problems: mountain top removal, global warming, air pollution, childhood asthma and mercury contamination. The film illustrates a new vision for American energy usage, shows how to reduce energy bills and advocates clean, renewable power sources as alternatives. The documentary was named the 2007 winner at the Southern Appalachia International Film Festival and was named the 2007 Conservation Educator of the Year by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
