Dr. Jeremy Stewart Rogers, who received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at UAB in 2003, has been elected president of the Emergency Medicine Residents Association.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Dr. Jeremy Stewart Rogers, who received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at UAB in 2003, has been elected president of the Emergency Medicine Residents Association. Rogers is a graduate of Hueytown High School and Birmingham Southern College.

The election was held at the American College of Emergency Physicians’ (ACEP) scientific assembly in San Francisco, October 17- 20. The assembly is the world’s leading educational conference for emergency medicine specialists. Over 5,000 physicians, researchers and academicians attend ACEP’s annual meeting.

Rogers is the son of Gilman H. Rogers and Jessie S. Rogers and grandson of Gilman H. Rogers, Sr. and Martha C. Rogers, all of Hueytown, Alabama. Presently, Rogers is completing his residency in emergency medicine at Christiana Care Health Systems in Delaware.
