BACKGROUND:

 

The UAB Hospital Auxiliary has raised money for this project with special sales such as jewelry and books, as well as sales of the group’s cookbook. A “$5 Jewelry Sale” is scheduled for October 28-31.

The North Wing of UAB Hospital is a $300 million, nine-story replacement bed project scheduled for completion next year. The Guest Services area will be located on the second floor and will consolidate several amenities for patient families and other guests, such as housing assistance and hospitality.
