BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - For National Mammography Day, Oct. 20, Jim ‘N Nick's Bar-B-Q will partner with the Angel Squad members from The Kirklin Clinic at UAB to host a breast cancer education event at the barbecue company's Trussville, Gardendale, Homewood, 5 Points South, Hwy. 280 and Riverchase locations.

For the fifth year of the partnership, the Angel Squad will hand out cancer education literature and answer questions about breast cancer from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Jim ‘N Nick's makes a sizeable donation to continue the Angel Squad's mission to educate men and women about the importance of early detection in breast cancer.

The Angel Squad is a group of volunteers who provide comfort, hope and encouragement to breast cancer patients and their loved ones at The Kirklin Clinic.
