Sept. 21 - ASC Kids' Club Rhythms of the Earth Festival, 12-5 p.m., presented by the Alys Stephens Center, 1200 10th Ave. S. Birmingham. Kids and parents will enjoy this festival celebrating music with interactive performances from local artists Nathifa Dance Co., John Scalici and Get Rhythm performing ensemble, Celtic band Hooley and singer/songwriter Charles Tortorici. Children also can make crafts and musical instruments, learn to make yummy dishes using organic fruits and vegetables and learn about native Alabama wildlife.
