UAB students and local professionals whose jobs require foreign language skills are invited to attend a Student and Professional Networking reception hosted by the UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

UAB students and local professionals whose jobs require foreign language skills are invited to attend a Student and Professional Networking reception hosted by the UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

This networking event is an opportunity to share information with UAB students about careers that require foreign language proficiency. The event is open to students in the UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and to local professionals in business, communications, travel, government, education and social services. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 17 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Birmingham International Center, 1910 3rd Avenue North.
