The UAB School of Engineering with be holding an open house September 21-23. The location of the open house is 1075 13th Street South, just went of the Alys Stephens Center on 10th Avenue South.

The best times for photo opportunities will be Sunday, September 21 at 2 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday, September 22 and 23 at 10:15 a.m.

On Sunday, prospective college students, their families and the general public are invited to tour UAB School of Engineering facilities, learn about a variety of engineering disciplines and careers, meet faculty and current UAB students, and learn about enrollment.

On Monday and Tuesday, pre-registered students from 17 area high schools will attend the open house.

The National Science Foundation says 2.2 million jobs will be open to students with engineering and science degrees by 2010, more than any other major.
