Teams from 24 area schools scheduled to participate in the UAB Blazer B.E.S.T. robotics competition will show off their robot designs on Sunday, September 28 at 2 p.m. at the Galleria Mall, 1st floor under the Belk Home Goods entrance.

Teams will test-out built-from-scratch robots designed for the Blazer B.E.S.T. robotic obstacle course event set for Oct. 11 inside UAB's Bartow Arena.  B.E.S.T. robotics is a national program designed to promote engineering and science in the country's K-12 classrooms.

The Blazer B.E.S.T. is sponsored by UAB with the university supplying the parts and components needed for robot construction to the 24 Central Alabama middle and high schools participating in October's competition inside Bartow Arena.
