The following is a list of experts at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) who are available to discuss the national and state elections today and tonight.

Larry Powell, Ph.D., professor of political communications. Powell can discuss polling, the presidential race, state elections, voter turnout and political communications. Powell will be available for interviews until 4 p.m. today and after 10 p.m.

Horace Huntley, Ph.D., associate professor, teaches African-American history. Huntley can discuss the impact of Sen. Obama's run for the White House. He will be available for interviews after 10 p.m.

NOTE: In addition, UAB students will gather for an Election Night Viewing Party, that will be held starting at 7 p.m. tonight at the UAB Hill University Center, 1400 University Blvd.
