The UAB School of Business chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) will sponsor a blood drive that will be open to campus faculty, staff, students and the general public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB School of Business chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) will sponsor a blood drive that will be open to campus faculty, staff, students and the general public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27.

An American Red Cross mobile donation unit will be located in the student parking lot on the west side of the Business and Engineering Complex building at 1150 10th Ave. S. Donors will receive a free t-shirt, snacks and a drink.

"The Birmingham community gives so much of its time and talent to help our students through internships, workshops and in other outside the classroom experiences, and this is one way our student group felt it could give back," said Lauren Skinner, the AMA faculty adviser and an assistant professor of marketing.
