UAB Associate Professor Jane Roy, Ph.D., has been selected to serve on the Exercise Physiology Academy Committee for the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE). She will serve a three-year term.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB Associate Professor Jane Roy, Ph.D., has been selected to serve on the Exercise Physiology Academy Committee for the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE). She will serve a three-year term.

The committee plans and conducts the Exercise Physiology Academy Forum at the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) national convention. NASPE is one of five associations that serve AAHPERD.

Roy is an exercise physiologist in the UAB School of Education's Department of Human Studies. She has been a member of the faculty since 2001. She earned her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Alabama in 1995 and 1998 respectively.
