Aug. 16, ‘Uncork Education’ With UAB Alumni Society to Benefit Scholarships

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) National Alumni Society (NAS) will present “Uncork Education,” a wine tasting and fundraising event, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at historic Rucker Place, 1804 12th Ave. S.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) National Alumni Society (NAS) will present "Uncork Education," a wine tasting and fundraising event, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at historic Rucker Place, 1804 12th Ave. S. The event to benefit UAB Student Scholarships will feature wines from around the world, live jazz and the chance to bid on gift packages and items in a silent auction.
