The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Liver Center will host “Liver U – Straight Talk for Your Health,” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 in the Hoover Public Library, 200 Municipal Drive, Hoover.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Liver Center will host "Liver U - Straight Talk for Your Health," at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 in the Hoover Public Library, 200 Municipal Drive, Hoover.

The discussion topic for the event will be "50 Ways to Love Your Liver," a community/patient education event for prevention of liver disease. UAB Liver Center nurses Cindy Joiner and Shannon Fagan will discuss nutrition and vaccination, along with living with and preventing liver disease.
