Hailed the "King of Newgrass" by fans and media alike, Bush is one of contemporary string music's most compelling performers. An innovator in acoustic music for more than 30 years, Bush is a bluegrass visionary who reveres tradition but doesn't let that stop him from exploring and expanding his art form. Famed for his skills on the mandolin, he also is a three-time national junior fiddle champion and Grammy award-winning vocalist. "Circles Around Me," Bush's seventh solo album, is an aurally inspiring mix of bluegrass favorites and complementary new songs.

Best known as the founder of New Grass Revival, he is one of acoustic music's consummate collaborators. Bush has been honored with three Grammy awards for his projects with Emmylou Harris, Béla Fleck and on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack. He has been honored with a lifetime achievement award by the Americana Music Association and by the International Bluegrass Music Association.

In addition to his solo work and recordings with the New Grass Revival, Bush has maintained a busy schedule as a session musician. He has performed with artists including Acoustic Alchemy, Alabama, Kenny Baker, Suzy Bogguss, Michael Bolton, Garth Brooks, Guy Clark, Neil Diamond, Steve Earle, Alison Krauss, Lyle Lovett, Dolly Parton, Tony Rice, Shania Twain, Doc Watson and Trisha Yearwood.

Grammy-winner Alison Brown takes the banjo and guitar far beyond their Appalachian roots with a high-octane blend of bluegrass, jazz, Celtic and Latin influences.
