Holland elected to NPWH leadership post
After serving as Chair-Elect, Holland, the director of Graduate Clinical Program Progression, will then serve two years as NPWH Chair and two more years as Post-Chair.
She has served on the NPWH Board of Directors for the past four years during which time she was Chair of the Research Committee and a member of the licensure, accreditation, certification and education (LACE) Committee. As Chair-Elect she will step down as Chair of the Research Committee but continue to serve on it as well as the LACE Committee.
“This has always been of dream of mine to serve nurse practitioners in women's health as the Chair of NPWH,” Holland said. “This is an exciting time to be a women's health nurse practitioner. I look forward to serving as the national leader in women's health for this organization.”
The NPWH’s mission is to ensure the provision of quality primary and specialty health care to women of all ages by women's health and women's health-focused nurse practitioners.
Holland was elected to the post at the 2015 NPWH Annual Conference in Salt Lake City. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the School in 2012.
