Ethnicity & Health is an international academic journal which covers the relationship between ethnicity and health and publishes original papers from a range of disciplines, including nursing and medicine, public health, epidemiology, social sciences, population sciences and statistics.
"I look forward to serving on the editorial board of Ethnicity & Health, a journal which provides an important space for the intersection of ethnicity and health, as well as issues of culture, religion, gender and class, as they relate to health," Lee said. "Journals such as this provide valuable insight into health care trends and research, and allow us to provide high-quality, up-to-date, evidence-based practices in health care."
As a member of the journal's editorial board, Lee will supervise the review of manuscripts, evaluate journal policies and processes and provide scholarly reviews for manuscripts.
Lee is a two-time graduate of the UAB School of Nursing and a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of experience. She has clinical and management experience, and most of her primary care practice experience has been with disadvantaged urban populations.
