“I am honored and humbled,” Wilson said. “All of my work in informatics is around ensuring that nurses can use the data and information technology tools on hand to capture and measure the impact they make on patients and populations every day. I share this award with all my incredibly innovative and scholarly nurse informatics colleagues who work tirelessly with me to make this vision a reality.”
The award will be presented during the 2022 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, held March 14-18 in Orlando. For nearly 60 years, HIMSS members and health care professionals—from chief information officers and senior executives to providers and payers to IT consultants and entrepreneurs—have attended this health information and technology industry conference and trade show.
