The intensive is designed to address social justice and health equity issues utilizing an interdisciplinary health sciences approach. All participants will be paired with a YSN faculty member to serve as their mentor during the intensive, with the goal of supporting diverse nursing scholars to enhance the discipline overall, as well as providing a strategic approach to diverse faculty career development and to actively enhancing diverse scholars in Nursing Science.
Nolan is currently a postdoctoral researcher at The Ohio State University College of Nursing.
Nolan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing from the UAB School of Nursing in 2008, 2011, and 2016, respectively. She also served as faculty in the School’s BSN and RN-BSN programs.
