UAB Eye Care to Host Annual Fall Eyewear Trunk Show

UAB Eye Care will host its annual fall eyewear trunk show on Friday, Oct. 20, from 9 am to 4 pm, offering a discount on well-known designer brands such as Ray-Ban, Boss Orange, Europa Eyewear, State and Match Eyewear.

The event will be held in UAB Eye Care’s Essilor Eyewear Department in the Henry Peters Building, located at 1716 University Boulevard. UAB Eye Care is the clinical operation of The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.

Attendees who purchase one complete pair of glasses (frames and lenses) can purchase a second complete pair (of lesser or equal value) and get half off the frame. If first pair is purchased with prescription lenses, the second pair purchased with frames at half off must use the same prescription. Some manufacturer restrictions may apply.

Attendees interested in purchasing prescription eyewear are encouraged to bring a prescription for same-day order. Those who need a prescription can call 205-975-2020 for an appointment.

UAB employees may purchase prescription or nonprescription eyewear using payroll deduction and can also use their flex spending accounts. UAB students may purchase eyewear with BlazerBucks.
