Adam Sauls, class of 2023, has been elected to serve as treasurer on the 2022-2023 AOSA Executive Council. The Wendell, NC, native previously served as the first year representative for the UAB chapter, then trustee-elect for the AOSA Board of Trustees, then as a trustee. 

“I pursued this position because I have an interest in finance and I wanted to continue serving the AOSA and the profession of optometry after my time on the board of trustees,” Sauls said. “I hope to refine my skills as a leader and learn how the operations/finances of a business entity differ from personal finance.”

He has been active in the Private Practice Club and OWNS. Sauls also served as the equipment representative for his class.
