Dr. Cox is originally from Shreveport, LA. She is currently a full time PhD student pursuing this research and a part time faculty member. Her research interest is dry eye disease, and she uses functional magnetic resonance imaging to investigate how ocular surface sensations are processed within the brain. When teaching, she serves in the primary care clinic and as an instructor in the clinical skills laboratoy.
