This report follows the guidelines mandated by the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Statistics Act. These statistics reflects incidents that have been reported to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Police & Public Safety Department as well as to other university officials who have significant responsibility for student and campus activity as defined by the Clery Act.

Incidents reported to other university officials which are included in the statistics below do not always result in criminal investigation when the victim chooses not to pursue the matter with law enforcement or opts for alternative resolution such as the student judicial process.

You may go to the Department of Education's web site to view other campuses' statistics.  Once you are on their site, look to the right and select the desired report to review online or download.
