The Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs at the University of Alabama at Birmingham are edited annually. All changes are entered by the office or department responsible and approved through workflow to be published for the next academic year. New courses for existing programs may be entered in the catalog system twice each editing cycle in fall and spring. These new courses will be routed to the Undergraduate or Graduate Curriculum Committee and the Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee for review and approval. Catalog production follows the university timeline below. Some colleges and schools may have earlier deadlines than those below to ensure workflow completes by the deadline.

The addenda allows the catalog to be an officially archived document, but retains the flexibility to meet the needs of the University and its students.
