Six students will display works in graphic design, drawing, painting, printmaking and photography for the new Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition, which opens April 30 in UAB's Abroms-Engel Institute for Visual Arts. A free opening reception is planned 5-8 p.m. May 1.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is the undergraduate professional degree for studio art in the Department of Art and Art History. These exhibitions are the pinnacle of achievement for those students accepted into the BFA program at UAB.
The AEIVA is open to the public 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-6 p.m. Saturday. It is closed Sunday and holidays.
