UAB and UAB Medicine will raise the minimum wage for full-time regular status employees from $13 per hour to $14 per hour in January 2022. In addition, UAB Medicine (i.e., UAB Health System, UAB Hospital, the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation and UAB Callahan Eye Hospital) will raise minimum wage to $15 per hour in July 2022, and the university will raise minimum wage to $15 per hour no later than Jan. 1, 2023, subject to funding availability and University of Alabama System Board approval.
