Beginning Nov. 1, all UAB, UAB Medicine, and Triton/VIVA employees, their spouses and dependents plus retirees can get help connecting with UAB Medicine caregivers.
UAB Medicine 4YOU will provide dedicated appointment and nursing specialists to assist with access to office visits, the UAB eMedicine online service, Urgent Care, the myUABMedicine patient portal, LiveChat and more.
“This benefit is in direct response to requests from our UAB family for a more streamlined approach to access,” said Andy Hare, director of ambulatory access. The goal, he said, is to provide stellar customer service that results in a better patient experience.
UAB Medicine 4YOU will help employees navigate the wide range of health care services that UAB Medicine offers, says Alesia Jones, chief human resources officer for UAB.
