CMVibe Study: Evaluates a CMV vaccine in healthy females or males aged 9-15 years old
Congenital CMV infection is the most common infection passed from the mother to baby during pregnancy. It is also the most common non-hereditary cause of hearing loss and brain damage in children. You or your child will have 3 injections, several months apart. You will have approximately 11 clinic visits over the 18 month study period. Saliva swabs, urine, and blood samples will be required.
