Join us at the Alabama Vaccine Research Clinic at UAB! We are seeking participants who were assigned male at birth, are 18 years or older, are not living with HIV, have had receptive anal intercourse (RAI) and regularly douche before intercourse. Participants must not have taken oral or injectable PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) for 8 weeks prior to screening. Our clinical trial will help in the development of an on-demand PrEP in the form of a rectal douche. Your involvement will include simple procedures such as medical and sexual history collection, blood and urine sample testing, a physical exam, and receiving PrEP products in the form of an oral pill and a douche.
