Women ages 18-65 with Multiple Sclerosis needed for brain-imaging study

Women with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS) needed for brain-imaging study The Neuroinflammation, Pain, and Fatigue Lab is looking for women with relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis ages 18-65 for a brain imaging study. The study includes a phone interview and two visits to UAB hospital: one screening visit including blood draws, and one imaging visit, during which we will acquire Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) of your brain for one hour. PET imaging involves exposure to a small amount of radiation. There will also be questionnaires. You will be paid $400 for completing the study. The purpose of the study is to investigate whether patients with multiple sclerosis have increased brain inflammation compared to healthy people.
