UAB scientist’s paper chosen as a top publication by NCI Program

skibola A paper by Christine Skibola, Ph.D., professor in the UAB Department of Epidemiology, has been chosen as one of the top publications for 2013 by the National Cancer Institute Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program, which fosters the use of resources and technologies to advance cancer epidemiology and its translation into clinical and public health practice.

“Genome-Wide Association Study Identifies Multiple Risk Loci for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia” was first published in the journal Nature Genetics.

This the second time Skibola’s work has been honored by the NCI.
